Tax Manager/Supervisor

Responsibilities:
The tax manager/supervisor responsibilities include:

  • Work with partners and others team members to develop effective tax planning methodologies and comprehensive compliance solutions for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain the status of a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Manage appropriate number of client engagements, including and not limited to engagement staffing, product quality, timeliness, thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Manage, coach and/or mentor less experienced team members on engagements.
  • Prepare or review complex tax returns and provisions.
  • Review individual and entity tax returns.
  • Research tax issues and become an in-house expert.
  • Minimal travel.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the following:
  • Be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience with a local, regional or national CPA firm or in corporate tax.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Devotion to teamwork.
  • Integrity is a must.

Business Valuation Specialist

The business valuation specialist's responsibilities include:
  • Participate in and complete valuation engagements.
  • Stay abreast of pertinent trends and technical advancements.
  • Develop and market the valuation practice.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with referral sources throughout the year.
  • Research technical valuation issues.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions in a dynamic team environment.
  • Develop younger team members through timely performance feedback and interactive training.
  • Little or no travel is required.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
  • Business valuation experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Business valuation designation (Candidates with practical business valuation experience who are willing to pursue a designation will be considered).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Devotion to teamwork.

Audit Manager

  • Stay abreast of industry trends that impact clients.

  • Develop and provide performance feedback to audit teams.
  • Research technical accounting and audit issues.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions in a dynamic team environment.
  • Work with partners and audit staff in developing audit approach.
  • Develop younger team members through timely performance feedback and interactive training.
  • Generate new business leads.
  • Little or no travel is required.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
  • Between 5 to 7 years of auditing experience with a local, regional or national CPA firm.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting with a CPA
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Devotion to teamwork.
  • Integrity is a must.

  • Research accounting and audit issues.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions in a dynamic team environment.
  • Work with partners and engagement executives in developing audit approach.
  • Little or no travel is required.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
  • Between 2 to 5 years of auditing experience with a local, regional or national CPA firm.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting with sufficient course work to complete the CPA certification upon passing the examination.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Devotion to teamwork.
  • Integrity is a must.
