Responsibilities: The tax manager/supervisor responsibilities include: - Work with partners and others team members to develop effective tax planning methodologies and comprehensive compliance solutions for our clients.
- Develop and maintain the status of a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Manage appropriate number of client engagements, including and not limited to engagement staffing, product quality, timeliness, thoroughness and accuracy.
- Manage, coach and/or mentor less experienced team members on engagements.
- Prepare or review complex tax returns and provisions.
- Review individual and entity tax returns.
- Research tax issues and become an in-house expert.
- Minimal travel.
Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following:
- Be a Certified Public Accountant.
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience with a local, regional or national CPA firm or in corporate tax.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Devotion to teamwork.
- Integrity is a must.
