Bob Montgomery joined Cotton + Allen in 1971 and was admitted as a firm partner in November 1973 and an officer/shareholder upon the incorporation of the practice in 1978.  He served as President of Cotton + Allen from 1994 to 2007 and continues to serve as the firm's Chief Executive Officer.  He has been in public accounting since 1968.

Bob's practice is directed to tax planning, business valuations, and management advisory services.  His focus is centered in planning for privately-held businesses ("S" corporations and partnerships) and their owners, including gift and estate taxes, succession planning, and wealth management.
